Our luthier service of Electrónica Baile located in Carabanchel (Marques de Vadillo area very close to Puente de Toledo) was created to provide a service to amateur and professional musicians who demand a quality service with a warm and friendly treatment. Our luthier Jorge is a professional with many years of experience who will advise you on everything you need to make your instrument better than when you bought it. These are our rates for the year 2023 for our lutheria service in Carabanchel, Madrid (21% VAT included):

Guitars and Basses

Tune-up / Complete tuning

- Electric guitar or bass: 45€.

- Acoustic or Spanish guitar: 40€.

- Electro-acoustic guitar: 45€.

- Guitar with Floyd Rose: 50€.

- Ukulele: 35 € 35

- Single point adjustment check: 10€.

* Instruments with a lot of rust or excess of dirt have a supplement of 20€.

* On instruments with a soundboard, the replacement of the bridge bone is not included if necessary.

The maintenance of the instrument includes the following check and adjustment points:

Hydration of the fingerboard and polishing of frets.

Greasing of the mechanical parts (bridge and headstock)

Frets

- Leveling and trimming of the frets: 100€.

- Fret change on ebony or rosewood fretboard: 200€.

- Fret change on fretboard with binding: 230€.

- Maple fret change: 220€.

- Maple fret change with binding: 265€.

- Fretless bass conversion: 220€.

- Side fret filing: €45

- Radius modification: 50€ supplement

* Fret repairs, except for side filing, include subsequent tuning.

Nuts and bones

- Fender type: 45€.

- Gibson type: 50€.

- 12 strings: 60€.

- Graphite: Supplement of 10€.

- Bronze: Supplement of 25€.

- Bone for acoustic or classical bridge: 30€.

* The manufacture of a nut includes the piece, its carving and calibration (not adjustment of the instrument).

Electronics

Circuit shielding:

- In aluminium: 45€.

- In copper: 55€.

- In conductive paint: 65€.

Pad replacement:

- One pad: €25

- Each additional pad: 10€ each

Various electronics:

- Change of potentiometer, selector, capacitor or jack: 25€. 

-Selector or switch replacement: 30€ (does not include the part but can be purchased at Electrónica Baile).

- Treble Bleed installation: 25€. 

- Push/Pull installation to convert the pickups from single to double, from series to parallel, out of phase, etc.

- Rewiring of the circuit without changing parts (cable and soldering):

- Circuit rewiring with parts replacement (not including spare parts that can be purchased at Electrónica Baile):

Telecaster or Jazz Bass type: 50€.

Stratocaster, LP, SG type: 60€.

- Wash Potting: 50€ including the assembly and disassembly of the pickup. Each additional pickup 10€.

- Piezo pickup installations:

Piezo pickup under the bridge, including jack connection assembly: 70€.

Piezo contact pickup, including jack connection assembly: 50€.

Add volume control: 30€ *If the pickup has a preamp: 30€ *If the pickup has a preamp: 30 

*If the pickup has a preamp in the sound hole of the guitar, its installation has a

extra charge of 20€.

*If the pickup has a preamp on the side of the guitar its installation (milled in the hoop)

has a supplement of 45€. 

Mechanics

- Replacement of the headstock without modification of the headstock: 20€.

- Change of headstock with modification of the headstock: 35€.

- Change and adjustment in octave and height of fixed bridge: 45€.

- Change and adjustment in octave and height of floating or tremolo bridge: 60€.

Painting

- Guitar or bass body only:

Non-metallic solid colour: 380€.

Metallic solid colour (Candy type): 410€.

Sunburst: 400€.

Natural colour, exposed wood with lacquer: 400€.

Natural colour, exposed wood with stained lacquer: 410€

Stained wood plus lacquer (PRS type): 430€.

- Body and neck:

*120€ surcharge on the price of body painting for glued masts.

- Lacquering of the non-glued mast: 140€. 

- Lacquering of non-glued neck with fingerboard: 160€.

- Fingerboard lacquering: 100€.

- Oil finishing, including removal of the original old paintwork of the musical instrument:

- Replacement of the logo on the headstock (logo included): 125€.

All paint jobs, with the exception of logo replacement and fretboard lacquering, include disassembly, assembly and adjustment of the instrument.

Instrument refurbishment:

- Partial (body and hardware): 135 € - 

- Rosewood neck (including hardware): 80€ - Total (body, neck and hardware): 80€.

*All painting and relicing work includes dismantling, sanding the original paint,

painting and reassembling the instrument.

Millings

- On unpainted wood or pickguard bass: 50€.

- On exposed or lacquered wood: (e.g. Jazz Bass pickup on a precision pickup): 80€. 

Breakage of the headstock

- Gluing of the back of the headstock, even out the breakage to the touch, disguise and lacquer

the area to avoid humidity: 105€.

- Gluing of the back of the blade with subsequent paint work to make the repair invisible: 240

*Installation of reinforcement ribs after gluing: €40 supplement

Cracks in the top of acoustic/classical soundboards

- Reinforcing the crack, sealing, concealing and levelling to the touch: 40€.

Other cracks

- Bridge gluing on classics and acoustics (includes peeling off, cleaning the top and bridge, flattening the

bridge, flattening surfaces and gluing): 105€.

- Neck reset or unglued neck: Please consult us.

- Gluing of harmonic tops, disguising and levelling the area to the touch: 35€ per 10 centimetres.

Pickguards

- Change of pickguard without pickups: 15€.
